Customer Background

A leading mechanical and plumbing contractor, specialising in mechanical and plumbing fit-outs for multi-family residential buildings, including high-rise apartments and luxury homes.

Operating across London, the South East, and the South West of England, they are known for delivering high-specification solutions on complex residential developments.

The Challenge

During the Lombard House project in Plumstead (for Berkeley Homes), the client faced four significant challenges:

Stock Shortages

Their preferred lightweight channelling system and 15mm nails from a competitor brand were unavailable, with no confirmed restock date.

Tool Reliability

They had committed to nine contract-binding tools, but the lack of consumables rendered them unusable, causing potential project delays and inefficiencies across the workforce.

Installation Efficiency

A reliable method to fix Unistrut to concrete slabs was required to keep the installation moving.

Tight Project Deadlines

With pressure to meet Berkeley’s timelines, any delay could have jeopardised the client’s reputation and financial outcomes.

The Solution

Fixmart approached us to support the project with an alternative system.

We conducted a live on-site demonstration of our Pulsa 27E tool, showcasing its ability to fix Fixmart’s Unistrut directly to concrete slabs using 17mm HC6 pins.

Post-installation pull tests confirmed the system’s performance, enabling the client to proceed with confidence.
